Ray Durand joined Fairfield County Bank in May 2009, as a Senior Loan Officer, and is located at our Fairfield office at 255 Tunxis Hill Road, where he is responsible for originating and soliciting new residential mortgage loans. Ray was most recently a Wealth Manager at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. where he provided comprehensive wealth management for high net worth individuals. He was a Private Mortgage Banker with Wells Fargo before that. With more than thirty years of experience in the banking sector, Ray prides himself on his ability to gain an understanding of his clients’ current and long-term financial goals, and has a keen ability to implement strategies for future growth. He began his banking career in 1975, as Loan Teller, went on to become Sales Manager, and then President of a real estate mortgage company. He served as Vice President of three major Northeast banks before he started Wells Fargo's Private Banking group in 1999. Ray is an affiliate member of the Greenwich, Mid-Fairfield County, Northern-Fairfield County, and Litchfield County Board of Realtors. He is also a member of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA), and a member of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce. He lives in two antique homes, one in Brookfield, CT and the other in Grafton, VT. He owns a store in Grafton, Vermont and enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling, in addition to working with communities in his area. He is a graduate of Pace University with a B.S. of Real Estate Education, Certified Financial Planner from Adelphi University, and Real Estate Appraiser Certification from Sacred Heart University. | ||
